Bathroom renovation in Wimbledon.Period rooms, modern hot water.
Full refits, second bathrooms and en-suites across SW19 and SW20. The recurring question in Wimbledon is not tiles, it is whether the hot water system can serve two bathrooms at once.
The three things
Wimbledon decides for you.
Every area sets its own constraints before anyone picks a tile. These are the ones that matter in Wimbledon, and they get answered at the survey.
Three shapes
most jobs take.
Open the one closest to yours for what it involves locally and how long to allow on site.
Full strip-out and rebuild in a period house, with layout options drawn as a 3D visual. Larger rooms mean more tiling and typically twelve to fifteen working days.
A box room, a landing corner or part of a bedroom turned into a second bathroom. The waste route is answered at survey, including pumped options where gravity will not do it.
Common in SW19 conversions. Head height, floor build-up and pressure at the top of the house all get checked before anything is designed.
Why Wimbledon bathrooms
are planned differently.
Knowing the housing stock means the design is possible before it is drawn, not after somebody lifts a floor.
Wimbledon property is generally larger than the rest of our patch, which changes what a bathroom project is. Refits here are frequently part of something bigger: adding an en-suite to a main bedroom, converting a box room, or bringing a loft conversion's shower room up to the standard of the rest of the house.
That makes hot water the first conversation rather than the last. A single combi that coped with one bathroom will not serve two showers running at once, and no amount of specification fixes that after tiling. In most of these houses the answer is a system boiler with a properly sized unvented cylinder, decided before the design is signed off.
Four stages,
dates agreed up front.
You know who is in the house each day and what is happening. No week where nobody turns up because a tiler was double-booked elsewhere.

Recent refits and plumbing work in Wimbledon and across South London.
Booked a full bathroom refit. The team was punctual and the price matched the quote exactly. Our older Victorian house had complicated pipework and they handled it without any fuss.
Wimbledon
Had a burst pipe on a Sunday evening and TopFix sent someone out within the hour. The plumber explained exactly what was wrong, fixed it cleanly and left everything tidy.
Sutton
Used TopFix twice now, once for a boiler service and once for a radiator that was not heating. Both times on time, honest about the cost and the job done properly.
Clapham
Asked before
most local refits.
Send photos of the room and a rough idea of what you want. We will tell you what is possible in that space before anyone talks about money.
Call 020 3095 1113Can my system cope with a second bathroom?
That is the first thing we check. Two showers running together usually needs a system boiler and an unvented cylinder rather than a larger combi, and it is much cheaper to plan it in than to retrofit afterwards.
Can you convert a box room into an en-suite?
Frequently, yes. The deciding factor is where the waste can run. We survey that before anyone draws a layout, and we will tell you if a pump is the only honest route.
Do you cover the Village and Raynes Park?
